My main interest since retiring in 2006 from the NHS as a counsellor in Primary Care has been patient /carer focused. I recently moved from Bradford where I was Chair of the Patient Network in the city. I am also a member of Market Weighton Patient group. I am involved with research in the NHS as a patient/public representative, I am a Lay Fellow of the Improvement Academy and a member of a Patient/Carer forum in Humber.

I enjoy singing in my local choir, also reading and gardening. I am a member of U3A and my local Rotary group.

My husband and I also enjoy travelling, and entertaining friends.

Having worked with the trust since losing my sister in 2016, the staff and teams have inspired me to continue to reach out and help others. It is an opportunity to assist and guide the trust and ensure they better themselves, to give the service and support its users need.
