I stood for election as public Governor for the East Riding as I believe I can represent the interests of Trust members in holding the Non-Executive Directors individually and collectively to account for the performance of the Board of Directors.
I have worked in the NHS for 44 years in range of roles and believe my knowledge, and experience can make a positive contribution as a member of the Council of Governors and to the Trust
I am a Registered General Nurse and still practice, working as bank nurse on a Community Hospital ward.
I remain as passionate about the NHS today as when I started my training as a student nurse in the 1970’s.
My interests include spending time with my family, keeping grandchildren amused, walking, reading and collecting vinyl records .
