Every month we submit a Performance Report to Trust Board.
This report provides a summary of the performance measures stemming from the NHS Constitution, NHS Mandate, NHS Improvements Single oversight Framework and the regulator requirements.
These measures are tailored to provide assurance to the Trust Board on the performance relating to five themes:
- Quality of Care;
- Finance and use of resources;
- Operational Performance;
- Strategic Change and Leadership and
- Improvement capability (well-led) to underpin the delivery of good governance and service provision.
These five key themes underpin the delivery of good governance and service provision.
EMT are considering the format of future reports to ensure appropriate oversight, and the report is presented using statistical process charts (SPC) for a select number of indicators with upper and lower control limits represented in graphical format.
All indicators are aligned to the Trusts Strategic Goals with summary narrative for each section in the report (Quality, Workforce, Operational).
Performance against the current National Oversight Framework is included and proposed metrics for 2026/27 we reviewed by Trust Board in May 2026.
