Care Quality Commission (CQC)
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. It ensures that services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, and high-quality care.
We are currently rated Good by the CQC following our most recent inspection. Click here to see the Trust's most-recent report.
The CQC assesses services against five key questions:
- Are they safe?
- Are they effective?
- Are they caring?
- Are they responsive?
- Are they well-led?
We are committed to:
- Meeting and exceeding CQC standards
- Continuously improving the quality and safety of our services
- Listening to patients, carers, and staff to shape improvements
- Acting on feedback from inspections and reviews
We work closely with the CQC during inspections and reviews, developing and implement action plans where improvements are needed. Progress is monitored through our governance and assurance processes and learning from inspections is shared across all our services.
