Our CEO is Ready to Dance through the Decades in Charity Challenge

Our Chief Executive, Michele Moran, is set to take on a day-long dance challenge to raise money for trust charity Health Stars and celebrate the 75^th birthday of the NHS.

The day-long dance-a-thon will begin at 8.30am with music from 1948, the year in which the NHS was created, and then move through the decades, finishing with current day hits.

Michele will be joined on the journey by staff from across our Humbelievable teams, including dance lessons in traditional African and Irish dancing!

Other special guests include the Hull City Ladies Football team and the Chief Executives from neighbouring health and social care organisations, who will be there to support and motivate Michele along the way.

Michele’s previous challenges have raised over £15,000 for Health Stars, our Trust charity, which benefits patients and staff across the organisation. The charity provides that ‘extra sparkle’ to local NHS services across Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, and parts of North Yorkshire – from arts and craft materials, ‘stress-less’ bags and gardening equipment, to staff team building days and specialist training resources.

Michele Moran, Chief Executive at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, said:

“I am a complete non-dancer, so this is a big challenge for me. I’m looking forward to being joined on the dancefloor by my colleagues across the Trust both in person and virtually!
