Our Trust has been successful in securing one of the first ever Cancer Innovation Grants from the Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance.

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is celebrating World Mental Health Day 2024 on Thursday 10 October by launching an art exhibition at Humber Street Gallery in Hull. The art exhibition will display a range of art and creativity produced by staff and patients from the Trust’s mental health inpatient units.

The GP surgeries run by Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust have introduced a call back function, removing the need for patients waiting on hold when calling their surgery during particularly busy periods. 

Our Trust’s NHS Cadet programme, working in partnership with St John Ambulance, provided local young people aged between 14 and 18 years with the opportunity to access a broad and accessible training programme.

The first GP practice has now gone live with EMIS contextual launch functionality allowing better access to regional Shared Care Records.

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has invested in AccessAble; a world leader in the provision of accessibility information, to provide their patients with vital details on how to access services easily.

Our Trust are inviting members of the public to attend their Annual Members Meeting (AMM) to learn more about their services, recent achievements and future strategies. We have also announced the name of the special celebrity guest who will be speaking at the event.

We have made it to the final stage of the 2024 NHS Parliamentary awards in two categories – the Excellence in Urgent and Emergency Care Award and the Excellence in Mental Health Care Award – following more than 900 nomination submissions across the country.

Our Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors (NED), for the term of 1 Sept 2024 to 31 August 2027.

The project is delivered by our Trust, on behalf of East Riding of Yorkshire Council and is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (People & Skills).

Our East Riding and Hull 0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Teams have been awarded the highly coveted UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold Award.

Our Trust held the first HumberFest event on Sunday 11 August 2024 with over 200 staff members and their families attending the fun day.
