Help Us Improve Mental Health Care – Your Voice Matters 2026 Community Mental Health Survey – Mid-Survey Reminder
Published: 13 October 2026
As we reach the midway point of the 2026 Community Mental Health Service User Survey fieldwork, we want to thank everyone who has been invited to complete the survey and already taken part.
At Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred mental health care with a trauma informed approach. In August this year, the NHS launched its annual survey, gathering feedback on people’s experiences of using mental health services. If you used our services in April or May 2026, you may have been invited to take part and give your feedback on the quality of support you received.
In 2025, we received 215 responses from adults aged 16 and over, who used the survey to tell us what is working well and what requires improvement. Action plans are in place throughout, with focus on our lower scoring areas from 2025 results and internal surveys are in use Trust wide to gauge temperature around how our patients, service users and carers feel about the care we provide.
A video has been produced to explain the various surveys the Trust carries out, bringing together teams, service users and clinicians from across the Trust to explain why we ask for feedback via NHS surveys, and showcase the work that takes place as a result. Watch the video.
If you’ve been invited to take part but haven’t yet completed the survey, we encourage you to do so. Whether your contact with services was regular or minimal, your voice is valued and your feedback helps us to improve the care we deliver.
The survey can be completed as a paper questionnaire, or online by using the log in details provided or by scanning the QR code. If you are invited to take part in the survey have any questions or need help completing it, please contact helpline-QH@IQVIA.com or call the Freephone helpline on 0800 783 1775 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
The survey is confidential, carried out by the Care Quality Commission and a dedicated Survey Coordination Centre at Picker. Your individual responses are not shared with our staff, so they will not see your answers. Participation in the survey will not affect your care or treatment. The NHS Community Mental Health Survey has Section 251 (NHS Act 2006) approval to process contact details.
The results will be published in the spring of 2027 and will be used to assess Community Mental Health Trusts in England. What we learn will enable us to identify key priorities, aiding our mission to provide the very best care for you and our community.
