Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Website launched for World Mental Health Day 2026

Published: 09 October 2026

To mark World Mental Health Day, Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has launched a new interactive website, providing signposting to the range mental health support available using a unique timeline of life’s stages.

NHS services can sometimes be difficult to navigate, with medical terminology and unfamiliar service names making it hard for people to know where to turn for help.

The Support at Every Stage website takes a different approach, organising mental health and wellbeing support around familiar stages of life rather than clinical services. Through an interactive, scrollable timeline, visitors can explore support for early years, growing up, adulthood, family life and later life, alongside a dedicated section on recovery.

This simpler, more relatable approach aims to help people find the right information and support for themselves or someone they care about, without needing to understand how NHS services are structured.

At this time of year families in particular are going through periods of transition, with children starting a new year of school and teenagers leaving for University. For others, the colder days and darker nights can have an impact on their mood and wellbeing. This new website is for accessing support at any stage of life, signposting to the mental health and wellbeing services the Trust provide across Hull and East Yorkshire.

The theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day is Lived Experience, something reflected throughout the website. Real-life stories from people who have accessed mental health services help bring the resource to life, showing the difference that support can make and offering hope and reassurance to others who may be facing similar challenges.

The Trust plans to continue developing the website, adding new content and resources to ensure it remains relevant and responsive to the needs of local communities.

Support At Every Stage launches on World Mental Health Day, 10 October 2026 and can be accessed at www.support.humber.nhs.uk
