Lynn Parkinson, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer appointed 1 October 2018

Lynn spent a significant proportion of her career working in mental health in Leeds and York. Lynn started as a student nurse and worked her way up management positions working as Deputy and then Interim Chief Operating Officer in Leeds and York NHS Foundation Trust before joining our Trust in February 2018.

Since qualifying as a registered mental health nurse, Lynn has gained a wealth of experience in a wide variety of clinical services including acute inpatients, community and for a number of years within the Eating Disorder Service.

Lynn has a background in Service and Quality Improvement and expertise in applying improvement methodology such as lean six sigma in clinical settings.

Lynn was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in November 2020.
