'Hear the Story' a New Trust Podcast Series

Hear the Story, is a new Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust podcast series that brings together the voices of colleagues and people with lived experience to explore how understanding people's stories can improve care.

It has been created as part of our wider See the Story campaign, which supports the work of our Care Culture and Equity Group, bringing together trauma informed care, health inequalities, the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF) and Culture of Care.

Through the podcast, colleagues, people who use our services and those with lived experience share their perspectives on care, recovery and support. Their stories bring to life how small changes in the way we listen, communicate and respond can make a meaningful difference to people's experiences.

The campaign also provides practical tools and resources to help teams embed these principles into everyday practice.
