Published: 15 May 2026
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and their Trust charity, Health Stars, are preparing to hold a unique wellbeing event designed to support local businesses and their workforces to lead happier and healthier lives.
The Workforce Wellbeing Exchange is being hosted as part of Humber Business Week 2026. This informative and practical event is being held on Tuesday 2 June 2026 at The Edge in Hull. It will be focussed on workplace wellbeing and mental health, making it ideal for employers, HR professionals and business leaders to attend.
As an NHS-led event it combines networking, expert insight and practical ideas for attendees to take back to organisations for the benefit of their staff. Those in attendance can enjoy breakfast refreshments while networking and meeting NHS staff who can provide supportive insights into the wellbeing of staff. The day will also include interactive workshop sessions focussing on three key areas which need consideration across all organisations including neurodiversity, stress reduction and multigenerational approaches.
The event is open from 9:30am to 12pm. The sessions available of the day offer something for all attendees to learn from:
10:00am: Think Differently: Supporting Neurodiversity at Work – exploring inclusion and tools to provide workplace support.
10.30am: How to Beat Burnout (It’s not just about self-care) – looking at the organisational causes of burnout and what leaders can do to reduce stress.
11:00am: Multigenerational Working: Shaping a Workforce Offer for Every Stage – meeting the needs of employees at different stages of life and career.
The format is drop-in, so attendees are welcome to join for sessions and opportunities that interest them the most or stay and enjoy the full morning event and you can sign up now!
This innovative event is hosted in partnership with Health Stars, the NHS charity supporting Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and local mental health and community services. The team from Health Stars will be available throughout the morning to share opportunities for businesses to support local NHS staff through partnerships, fundraising events and community initiatives that build engagement, connection and positive workplace culture.
