Talking Heads

Talking Heads is a group for people who hear, see and believe things that other people do not (such as hearing voices).

These groups offer a place for people to support each other and share their experiences and knowledge. There are Talking Heads group meetings in Hull, Driffield, Goole and Pocklington.

Community Mental Health Services – East Riding

The team operate recovery-based community mental health services for people living in the East Riding of Yorkshire who have enduring mental health problems.

The service is provided in partnership with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust in conjunction with other internal mental health services.

Perinatal Mental Health Support

The Perinatal Mental Health Service (PNMH) is open to women who are registered with a GP practice in the Hull, East Riding, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire areas who are in the perinatal period (during pregnancy and up to 12 months post- delivery).

The team aims to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia in care homes across the East Riding of Yorkshire and support those who care for them.

Liaison Psychiatry for Older People

The liaison psychiatry service for older people is for older people (aged 65 and over) who have a physical illness and co-existent psychiatric disorder, physical symptoms that have a psychological origin or a physical illness and associated psychological or emotional problems.
