Hull Children's Occupational Therapy Service
Occupational therapy services for children living in the Hull community.
How to access the service
Referrals are accepted from the following:
- consultant paediatricians;
- community paediatricians;
- other allied health professionals e.g physiotherapists, speech and language therapists
Once a referral has been received we may ask for more information before a decision is made on whether our service can help. Once a decision has been made we will inform the parents/carers and referrer in writing and give advice as appropriate.
If a referral is accepted the child will be placed on our waiting list and the referrer and parents/carer will receive an acknowledgement letter. An individual therapist will then contact you when your child is able to be seen.
Tel: 01482 692929
The service operates between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, but is flexible to meet the needs of the service.
There are no “on-call” arrangements at weekends, overnight or bank holidays. The services are provided throughout the year.
Please be aware that the team are community based therapists and are not always available to answer your calls. However, answer machines are available and are checked regularly.
