Humber and North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health and Learning Disability Provider Collaborative
We are Humber and North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Autism Provider Collaborative.
NHS-led Provider Collaboratives are new regional partnerships of organisations that provide specialised mental health services for patients. These new partnerships mark a new era for how all NHS services will work together building on the success of New Care Models for tertiary mental health services.
NHS-Led Provider Collaboratives bring a much-needed focus on tackling inequalities for their local population and increasing the voice of people with lived experience in improving the quality of care provided.
Humber and North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health Learning Disability and Autism Provider Collaborative is made up of the five NHS, Independent and Social Enterprise organisations that jointly provide specialised inpatient Mental Health Learning Disability and Autism Services across Humber and North Yorkshire.
Together, we manage low and medium adult secure services, children and young people day care and inpatient mental health services, and adult eating disorder day care and inpatient services.
The lead organisation within the Collaborative is Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust (HTNHSFT), who hold a contract and are accountable to NHS England to undertake the day-to-day commissioning and quality assurance work of the collaborative. HTNHSFT have established an arms-length commissioning and quality assurance oversight team.
This team, known as the Collaborative Planning and Quality Team (CPaQT), works with health and social care partners to plan (based on patient need) and purchase (within a regional budget) the services required to meet the needs of our patient population.
Our core principle as Provider Collaborative is to:
Work in partnership with the people who access our services and those who provide care services across HCV - we will deliver best quality outcome-based care close to home through the introduction of meaningful efficiencies into care pathways, within a rigorous governance framework and a culture of learning and evaluation.
