Good News: September 2025

I’m delighted to present the September edition of our Good News newsletter.
Good News celebrates the many inspiring successes and positive stories that continue to emerge from across our Trust community. Each quarter, we share highlights that showcase the progress we are making in delivering outstanding patient care, supporting our colleagues to develop and thrive and ensuring wellbeing remains at the heart of everything we do. It’s a reflection of what it truly means when we say, Being Humber.
Our core values of caring, learning, and growing are central to our mission and underpin every story we share. In this edition, you’ll find examples of how our teams are putting these values into action, from local initiatives that are making a real difference for patients, to national recognition of the dedication and impact of our staff.
We’re especially proud to highlight the achievements of services and teams who have been recognised in recent months for their hard work and commitment, whether through national awards or their brave actions which make a real difference to our patients. These successes remind us of the extraordinary efforts happening every day across the Trust.
Taking the time to reflect on and celebrate these moments is vital. Good News is our way of shining a spotlight on them and acknowledging the difference we make together.
I hope you find this September edition as inspiring and uplifting as I do.
Warmest regards,
Michele Moran
