Patient and Carer Experience Forum Drop‑In Event and Marketplace Announced

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has announced the Whitby and District Patient and Carer Experience Forum for 2026. Instead of the usual meeting format, this year’s first gathering will take the shape of an open drop‑in event and marketplace, designed to bring patients, carers, staff and local partners together in a more interactive way.

The “Your Voice Matters – Whitby and District Patient and Carer Experience Event and Marketplace” aims to strengthen collaboration between the Trust and the community it serves, ensuring that real lived experiences help influence and shape future services.

Members of the public, carers, voluntary and community groups, and health and care partners are encouraged to attend. The event will offer opportunities to:

- Share views and ideas to shape the future of Patient and Carer Experience Forums

- Meet teams from the Trust who provide services locally

- Discover the many ways to get involved and have a say in local healthcare

- Connect with organisations working to improve health and wellbeing in the community

Fernanda Marbrow, Patient and Carer Experience Manager for Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust said, “We know patients, service users, carers and families bring invaluable insight into how services can improve. We hope this event will make it easier than ever for people to share their experiences, meet our teams and find ways to get involved. Everyone is welcome – your voice truly does matter.”

The Trust is welcoming patients, service users, carers and local partners, to what promises to be an engaging and collaborative event.
