Trust is Top Performer in National League Tables
Published: 18 March 2026
The NHS has published its latest Oversight Framework results for Quarter 3 (October–December), which provide a national picture of how Trusts are performing across England.
We are pleased to share that our Trust has now moved into segment one, the highest of the four performance segments. This is an important milestone and reflects the dedication of our staff and the continued improvements across our services.
Alongside moving into the highest segment, we have also risen further in the national league table for non‑acute trusts, moving from 19th to 7th out of 61 trusts. Within our Integrated Care Board System, the Humber also remains the highest rated Trust.
Why this matters
Being in a higher segment is about more than a rating. It will give us greater independence in how we plan and deliver services, allowing us to respond more effectively to the needs of our local communities. It also places us in a stronger position for any future national opportunities, including potential discussions around Foundation Trust status.
These results are publicly available, and strong performance helps build confidence among patients, families and partners. It shows that we are a safe, reliable and high‑quality organisation, committed to delivering the best possible care.
Some highlights from our segment one scorecard include:
- We have no community waits over 52 weeks
- We have the lowest % of patients in our Adult Acute Mental Health units who have a length of stay more than 60 days
- Our Urgent Community Care two-hour response performance was 97.59%
- Our financial performance remains strong and we are reporting a favourable variance to our plan
Looking ahead
While these results are encouraging, they represent only part of the picture. They cannot capture the compassion, skill and commitment our staff show every day, nor the difference they make to the people who rely on our services.
We will continue to build on this progress, always guided by what matters most, providing safe, high‑quality care for our patients and communities.
Thank you for what you do and for the pride you take in delivering high‑quality care.
