Trust CEO Preparing for Fundraising Challenge

Michele Moran, Chief Executive of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, is preparing to take on her annual fundraising challenge in support of the Trust’s charity - Health Stars. This year’s event will take place on 3 July 2025, marking the 77th birthday of the NHS.

While the details of the challenge remain under wraps to ensure Michele gets a surprise on the day, the full day event will involve a series of tasks that she'll uncover through a treasure hunt. Aptly named ‘CEO on the Go’, the challenge will see Michele travelling 100 miles to visit Trust sites and take on activities that test her physical strength, mental agility and knowledge of the local area!

The event is proudly sponsored by local business Sewell Group who are long-time supporters of Health Stars. They have been joined by Voase Builders, Glen Wilson and Eyeweb who have generously sponsored elements of the day. The support from all the sponsors is invaluable in fundraising for Health Stars who work to enhance services across the Trust and add extra sparkle to the experiences of staff, patients and their families.

The team at Health Stars have been very good at keeping the details a secret from me so I can’t wait to see what they have in store on the day. What a great way to celebrate the NHS’s birthday by fundraising for our staff and patients.”
