Scarborough and Ryedale Patient and Carer Experience Forum Re-launch
Published: 17 March 2026
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are pleased to announce the re‑launch of the Scarborough & Ryedale Patient and Carer Experience Forum, with one fact-to-face workshop taking place this March.
The Forum aims to create a welcoming, inclusive and useful space for patients, carers, service users and local partners. The planned workshop will give attendees the opportunity to shape the future direction of the Forum by sharing what matters most to them. The sessions are designed for open conversation, feedback and collaborative thinking, ensuring the Forum continues to reflect the needs and priorities of local communities.
- The Forum was first created as a space for:
- Sharing lived experiences to influence service improvement
- Celebrating positive care and learning from what works well
- Facilitating open, honest dialogue between patients, carers, staff and local partners
Supporting co‑production and involvement in Trust activities
As the Forum evolves, the Trust are committed to ensuring it becomes even more engaging, accessible and impactful. Community input is central to this process.
