Rewired 2026 to host Shared Care Record Summit in March
Published: 15 January 2026
Interweave and the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR) team are bringing their Shared Care Record Summit to the Digital Health Rewired event on Wednesday 25 March 2026, on the Patient Engagement Stage at the Birmingham NEC.
Following a successful 3rd Shared Care Record Summit in October 2025, these collaborative events bring together professionals from around the UK, and further afield, to discuss the benefit and future of Shared Care Records. This unique, collaborative version of the annual event once more brings together NHS leaders, ICS representatives, suppliers and innovators, with a collective goal to shape the next phase of integrated care.
Following the NHS’s 10 Year Plan there has never been a greater focus placed on joining up data and building on Shared Care Records to deliver the Single Patient Record. The decision to bring this half-day programme hot on the heels of the last summit comes at a pivotal time for the sector.
The Shared Care Record Summit forms part of the wider Digital Health Rewired 2026 programme, which takes place over two days in March. This edition of the Summit is designed for anyone working to connect care and make patient information more accessible to those who need it. Those attending will be invited to learn more about how Shared Care Records are essential for new Neighbourhood Services, as well as gain a better understanding of what success will look like and how it will be measured as we navigate through. The programme will feature national policy perspectives alongside practical, frontline learning.
Lee Rickles, CIO, Director and Deputy SIRO at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and Interweave, believes that hosting the Summit at Rewired will extend its national impact and open the conversation to a wider audience. He said, “Previous Shared Care Record Summits have helped set the agenda for shared care records nationally. Bringing this year’s Summit to Digital Health Rewired amplifies its reach and puts shared care firmly at the heart of the UK’s biggest digital health conversation.”
Karl Grundy, Digital Health’s Managing Director, added that shared care records underpin the NHS’s wider ambitions for reform. He said, “SCRs are foundational to the NHS’s shift towards community-based care, digitisation and prevention. The Shared Care Record Summit has a fantastic energy with a focus on practical next steps. It’s great that Rewired attendees can access this platform for national leaders and local systems to share learning and progress.”
Delegates are encouraged to register their attendance early as places are limited.
