Congratulations to our Trust’s Chief Information Officer, Deputy Chief Information Officer and Interweave Team who were all recognised at the CIO Live Awards 2025.
These awards recognise leaders and teams for their work in driving digital transformation, innovation and value through technology. They bring CIOs from across health and social care together to celebrate their shared passion and outstanding work.
Lee Rickles, Chief Information Officer at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust won the Innovation in Action Award. The “Innovation in Action Award” specifically highlights the practical applications of technology that have made a tangible difference. This year Lee Rickles and his team were recognised for their work in digital transformation within the healthcare sector.
Lee turned vision into reality, uniting systems and people to truly transform patient care. Through his leadership he has made shared care a reality, which has transformed outcomes. His innovation united care across boundaries through true digital transformation.
Ian Clucas, Deputy CIO, and the Interweave team beat two other teams to win the Digital Adopter award.
This award recognises individuals or teams who have successfully implemented and scaled digital services, especially those with significant reach or impact. The winning team must have demonstrated strong adoption rates, user engagement and measurable benefits from their digital initiatives.
As part of their nomination, it was noted that they stood out for delivering one of the UK’s most impactful digital health platforms which has transformed care across Yorkshire & Humber. Their work has enabled over 25 million patient record views annually and what sets them apart is their values-driven leadership and inclusive approach. The team’s innovative use of open standards and modular architecture allows rapid scaling and integration, while committing to the PRSB Core Information Standard ensures secure data sharing.
Congratulations to our Lee, Ian and the team, along with all the other winners from this prestigious event.
