An overview of mental health support services

A&E Mental Health Liaison Team A dedicated team who offer a service to patients presenting at Hull Royal Infirmary or Castle Hill Hospital with self harm behaviour, acute mental illness or emotional distress.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service (CFS) A service providing assessment, treatment, education and information for adults over 18 years old with a diagnosis of CFS.

Community Mental Health Services for adults in the East Riding

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Provides Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to working age adults in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Huntington's Disease Team Assessment for and treatment of Huntington's disease

Liaison Psychiatry General liaison provides a service for all patients with physical and mental health or psychological problems who are being treated by Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals.

Mental Health Response Service

Perinatal Mental Health  A multidisciplinary service which aims to help the woman of Hull and East Yorkshire who experience mental health problems in the antenatal, labour and postnatal period. 

PSYPHER - Psychosis Service for People in Hull and East Riding An early intervention in Psychosis Service. We work with people aged between 14 and 65, who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis or might be at risk of developing psychosis.

Specialist Psychotherapy Service  Psychoanalytic-based psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups.

Talking Heads  A group for people who hear, see and believe things that other people do not (such as hearing voices).

Traumatic stress service Specialist service for people experiencing post-traumatic stress for the population of Hull and Ex-military personnel in the East Riding

Units:

Veterans outreach service Mental health triage and assessment for military veterans registered with GPs across Yorkshire and the Humber that are struggling to access and or engage with mainstream mental health services.
