Chief Exec Treadmill Challenge raises over £3000!
30 October 2018

Thank you to everyone who supported Chief Executive Michele Moran in her Treadmill Challenge, which took place on Thursday 18 October.

From meetings to calls, it was business as usual for Michele as ‘ran’ the office as normal whilst walking on a treadmill.

Michele took on the challenge as part of the Health Stars Steppers Challenge which took place across the Trust during September and October.

As well as raising money for Health Stars, Michele wanted to raise awareness of how incredible Health Stars are and highlight all the brilliant work they’ve done to help communities across the region.

Michele said: "We had so many staff sign up to our Steppers Challenge, which encouraged staff to become more active, that I wanted to carry on the challenge and raising funds for Health Stars.

"Money from this event will help improve the experiences of patients, carers and staff right across the Trust."

Michele was very grateful to everyone who dropped in to say hello and show their support – she covered an amazing 36.4 miles and raised over £3000!

Head of Fundraising for Health Stars, Clare Woodard said: "We had a great response from local business wanting to help us.

"It was a great event and we are so grateful to Michele for putting herself forward.

"All sponsorship and donations will go towards enhancing core services for patients and staff and will make a real difference."
