Our voluntary services department recruits individual volunteers and works with voluntary and community groups to support and enhance NHS services.

Our service range includes mental health, learning disability, older people, palliative care, community hospitals, community based and inpatient facilities.

Covering Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire the range of support from volunteers is vast.We have a variety of roles available such as:

  • Complementary and beauty therapy
  • Therapeutic group assistants (psychology, speech and language, therapy)
  • Social group assistants (arts and crafts, baking, lunch groups, singing, music, fun and games)
  • Administration
  • Gardening and allotments
  • Drivers – minibus or using own car

NB: Please note that we don't offer clinical volunteer placements at this time.

If you can offer any other skills such as teaching or playing music, helping people improve IT skills or if you have another talent or interest that you would like to share we are open to ideas.

Our information leaflets, which can be found on the right hand side of the page, tell you more about the services that we offer.

Would you like to improve someone's quality of life? Then why not find out about volunteering in the NHS?

Our information for volunteers leaflets, which can be found on the right hand side of the page, tells you about opportunities that are available.
