Governors

The views of Trust members are represented by our Council of Governors (formerly Governors' Assembly). We have 30 Governors; 16 public Governors; 9 for the East Riding, 6 for Hull, one for the Yorkshire and Humber region, 9 nominated Governors and 5 staff Governors. More than half the Council of Governors is elected by local people.

Nominated Governors include representatives of local partnership organisations.Governors give up their time voluntarily. They do not ’run the Trust’. The Trust Board does that but the Governors can influence their decisions and represent the views of our members. The Council of Governors is chaired by our Trust Chairman, Jane Fenwick.

The Council of Governors meets four times a year and the meetings are open to the public.
