CQC inspection 2016

Following a CQC inspection in April 2016, our Trust was rated as ‘Requires improvement’, the report concluded that whilst we have made significant progress since our previous inspection in addressing concerns about services for children, young people and families and in community health services, we have not worked at the same pace to improve our adult mental health services. Our ratings are outlined below:

As of a result of the judgements made in the inspections there are set actions that the Trust is required to take. Executive leads have been appointed for each action. A written report of the actions we are taking to meet the Health and Social Care Act 2008 was submitted to the CQC on 4 September 2016. The Trust is currently working in conjunction with stakeholders to develop the action plan to address the warning notice, must do and should do action areas.

The Quality Summit, where the Trust response to the findings is presented to the CQC and key stakeholders, is planned to take place on 7 October 2016.
