CQC inspection report on the Trust (2017) - published January 2018

Our Trust has improved its overall CQC rating from ‘requires improvement’ to ‘good’ since our last inspection.

The Trust has improved its safety, effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership while maintaining its ‘good’ standard of care, says the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Since the CQC last inspected the Trust in August 2016, five of our 19 services have improved - meaning 16 are now ‘good’ and three ‘require improvement’.

We were also rated ‘good’ for effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership (all up from ‘requires improvement’, ‘good’ for caring (the same as before), and ‘requires improvement’ for safety, (up from ‘inadequate’).

The Trust achieved ‘good’ across-the-board ratings for community and primary medical services, and ‘outstanding’ for the responsiveness and care of its wards for people with a learning disability or autism.

You can read the report and individual service reports by visiting the CQC website.
