Crisis Pad Referrals

The Team

The Crisis Pad is a safe place for people aged 18 and above who are experiencing emotional crisis or distress in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire and who require a safe and calm environment to aid their recovery. Hull and East Yorkshire MIND is working in partnership with Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Mental Health Crisis Intervention Team, to provide support for people in mental health crisis.

The Crisis Pad’s aims are to:

  • improve support for people experiencing a mental health crisis out of hours;
  • support crisis resolution through brief treatment interventions and techniques that will deliver self-care;
  • reduce the number of hospital admissions due to the lack of alternative support out of hours.

The Crisis Pad is located at Wellington House, 108 Beverley Road, Hull, HU3 1YA. The opening times are 6:00pm until 02:00am every day.

How to access the service
